Ses' La (meaning "We're Here" in Zulu) is an irresistable African Dance song produced and performed by artists T. Em (South Africa) and T Sleek (Nigeria).
It is a composition that combines different sounds and elements that come from different regions of Africa. It has elements of Afrobeat, Amapiano and Kwaito.
The song reflects that Africans should stay united because we are all very similiar in our culture, our rhythm and music.
With the ongoing tension between the brothers and sisters of Africa collaborations like this help to show Africans that coming together is much stronger than being divided, as it boasts lingo from Nigeria (Pidgin English) and South Africa (Zulu). The smooth transitions between the different sounds, lingo and elements is something that is not very common and should be more popular. This is something that T. Em and T SLeek intend to do with this sound that they have created, because it helps to show we all have the same roots and should act as such to help eradicate tensions between Africans.
